The MZC203 instruments are cost effective, portable and easy to usemeters for testing electrical installations with overcurrent circuit breakers. The instrument measures short-circuit (L-PE, L-N or LL) loop resistance and prospective short-circuit loop current. The meter belongs to the MZC200 Series which consists of four types of instruments (MZC-200, MZC- 201, MZC-202 and MZC-203), each for different nominal line voltage.

- Short circuit loop resistance measurement:
- short circuit loop phase-to-phase(L-L) and phase-to-PE(N) measurement, neutral L-PE(N),
- automatic calculation of prospective short-circuit loop current,
- selectable test leads length 1,2m; 5m; 10m; 20m,
- Test for coutinuity of protecting wires and equalizing connection.
- AC voltages measurement.
- Autoranging.
- Memory of the last measurement.
- AUTO-OFF function.
- Versions available:
- MZC-200: operate in mains voltage 220/380 V or 230/400 V,
- MZC-201: operate in mains voltage 290/500 V,
- MZC-202: operate in mains voltage 100/170 V,
- MZC-203: instrument, manufactured at special order for any chosen mains voltages, less than 500V, allows short circuit loop impedance measurement.
- Meter meets the requirements of the standard EN 61557.

- MZC-202: 85...190V
- MZC-203: upon request, up to 500V
